Killing Game 16: Kansy's Game
Killing Game 16 is the sixteenth Killing Game.

KG16 is a Danganronpa styled killing game, pitting fifteen unwilling participants against one another on the Ultimate Luxury Cruise. They have 14 days to resolve the situation, before the ship goes down with a bang.
The Game Before the RP
Between July 11th and July 13th, 16 Ultimates were kidnapped all across Japan. With that many vanishing all at once, the disappearances were swiftly labeled abductions by the general populace.
Unbeknownst to the general public, these 16 individuals were forced to participate in a deadly game. They were held prisoners aboard the Ultimate Luxury Cruise, a private vessel used by a certain large company to host these kinds of events.
These Ultimates were subjected to a number of cruel motives and horrifying trials. The first among them to die was Jurou Borro, the Ultimate Mathematician. He was stabbed by Shikiyo Checkmate in the doorway to his room. Manabu Sugiyama, a young child who had befriended Jurou and was spending the night with the older boy, witnessed this. Jurou had been left to bleed out, suffering a slow and painful death. Unable to watch his friend in pain, Manabu took his schoolbooks and finished the job, crushing Jurou's head in with them. That made him the blackened of this case, and he was the first to be executed after his trial.
Following this, the group's secrets were used as a motive. Each Ultimate was given a card listing three secrets about other participants. Two would be lies, but one was the truth. Among these secrets, Kimiko Koda received Jo Utada's true secret. The Ultimate Janitor had killed her son, after the boy had stumbled across a crime scene he'd been in the process of cleaning up. She killed him, and showed no remorse for her actions afterwards.
The third motive brought quite a bit to light. Every participant had the thing they valued the most taken from them. Shikiyo lost his ability to lie, Chika lost her taste in fashion, Kioshi was made mute, etc. The two important individuals in this motive were Kobito and Ross. Kobito lost her ignorance, and the amnesia she'd suffered from the game's beginning finally cleared up. From that, she learned that she had agreed to participate in this game for a large amount of cash. Her purpose was to befriend Yoshie Remon, motivating the Ultimate Assassin not to kill. With her talent, the game would end too quickly. Kobito was naturally horrified at this revelation, but hers wasn't the worst case. Ross Tanner, the Ultimate Sheriff, lost his morals. As a result, he killed Shiro Anii, the Ultimate Deviant. After he did, the motive immediately ended, and he truly realized what he'd done. He attempted suicide by hanging, but was found by others before he could be killed. The experience left him foggy on what had happened, forcing everyone to talk it out in the trial.
Kobito revealed her role in the game to the group, spreading division and mistrust. The fourth motive was a machine that produced instructions on how to get away with murder. This was to give the slower participants a chance to get away with it. The group set a guard on machine all day and night, rotating out with time. Unfortunately, that didn't stop Chika Wakana. Ignoring the guard, she used it. This angered Sachiko more than she could handle, causing her to lash out at Chika, killing her. In her attempt to hide the body, she was caught by Madoka, and forced to kill again to hide her crime. She was caught in the end, and executed accordingly.
Kobito used her Love Suite Key and spent the night with Kioshi. They both felt incredibly awkward about it the next day, and avoided one another like the plague. This isn't important, it's just funny.
The final motive was a lottery. Two names would be pulled the next day, and those two would be executed on the spot. Everyone else would be allowed to leave. Shikiyo expressed relief at this, putting him in the group's bad graces. In truth, Shikiyo planned to take his own name out of the device, making it impossible for it to come up. He was caught by Kioshi. When confronted, Shikiyo simply offered to take Kioshi's name out too. Enraged by this, and Shikiyo behaving like this throughout the entire game, Kioshi strangled him to death.
Ever the coward, Kioshi kept the kitchen door open after hours, and stuffed the body in the freezer. This was normally impossible, as it was a rule violation, but Kansy was unaware of these acts due to the cameras being blocked off at the time. The participants were unable to solve the events of Shikiyo's murder, and all but Kioshi were executed.
When the cleaners came in however, Kioshi's actions were exposed. This blatant cheating left many viewers of the game upset. In retaliation, Kansy announced that Kioshi wouldn't be released, but instead forced to help him manage a brand new killing game. His cowardice would beget further tragedy, and he would be powerless to stop it.
The Actual RP's Plot
The plot is basically just: Everyone is too murderhappy so Kansy never gets to use any of his coolass motives.
Prologue
A gathering of Ultimates, a trip with no end.
A game where fellow players could be either foe or friend.
Psychotic entertainment and morality discarded.
Soon the blood will spill, so don't be caught unguarded.
For the 15 players in this cast, they were all kidnapped between the dates of July 28th and July 30th.
The Ultimates wake up in the break room of a large cruise ship, located on the bottom floor. The first to wake was Momoki, and slowly others began rising as well. A sign on the door warns them:
Head's up! Don't open this door until everyone is ready, else they'll be in for a very rude awakening!
They slowly become acquainted with one another, some of the more famous ones recognizable by appearance alone. Once most of them are awake however, their attention returns to the door, their only way out. They open it, and as soon as they do... and explosion rocks the ship! The shockwaves cause all of them to hit the ground. Previously thought to be sleeping through the whole meetup, the individual dressed in a mascot costume hops to their feet and shouts:
"Everyone! Get to the stairwell! This floor is sinking!"
After grabbing the still sleeping Isamu (his player was late to the session) and the pathetically slow Rin, the group makes for the stairwell. They run as fast as they can, and abandon the basement to reach the first floor of the ship. From there, the stairwell up to the second floor is blocked off by a metal grate.
At that point, the individual in the costume introduces themselves as Kansatsusagi, the Observer Rabbit. In truth, this individual in the costume was Kioshi Hamazaki, being forced to repeat the messages sent into the helmet he wore as though he truly was Kansy. He explains that the basement flooding was a minuscule mistake made while setting off fireworks, and that the problem has been contained to the bottom floor. Not only was there nothing to worry about, but there was much to celebrate! The organization Kansy represented had funded the early retirements of every single Ultimate aboard the ship.
The only downside was that they'd only live for 14 more days. After that, the ship would be blown up and sunk into the ocean, with them still on it. He passes out tablets, and the group finally notices the Ultimate Horror Fanatic among them. After that, Kioshi stops receiving messages, and awkwardly makes his way out.
The Ultimates scatter, all exploring different parts of the ship. A few noteworthy moments in this investigation include:
- Aimi and Akira check out the pool with Moe. Moe apparently doesn't realize that the twins are only fifteen, and strips down to swim with them. This is incredibly awkward once both parties realize the age gap.
- Everyone wants to go to the fucking Gift shop. Bokkun wants to die.
- Jokku fucking rips a plastic model of a bag of chips in half, because caveman brain.
- Ai asks for raw salmon, and accidentally phrases her request as: "Kiki and I want it raw!".
- Kioshi sets off the fire sprinklers in the kitchen, because he is a terrible cook.
And that was just the first day aboard the Ultimate Luxury Cruise.
Day 1: Glitter Freeze
The day begins with something barely approximating food being served to the participants. There was an attempt to make pancakes, and that attempt failed badly.
Burnt black discs. Burnt syrup topping it. Burnt Water.
The salad bar is the only thing which allowed many of the Ultimates to receive any sustenance that morning, although some chose to consume Kioshi's cooking. Those brave idiotic souls should be remembered.
Akira spends much of the day hunting down Kansy Coins.
Shun and Jokku explore together for a while, genuinely getting close. Unfortunately, Shun's bane, Paranoia, interferes when they're left alone.
The furries (Ai, Momoki, Ben), Isamu, and Moe all hang out around the hot tub for a while.
Brokkun makes a ruling that Momoki can't go into any of the cabins but her own due to her size, and honestly Bokkun just rolls with that judgement because it sounded funny.
Aimi is the first person to investigate the bottom floor. She can't get far with all the water, but it's something.
Shun's paranoia really starts acting up. She flees at the first sign of being left alone with anyone. The threat of an assassin targeting her is enough to keep her from fully trusting in anyone.
Kansy's taco bar is far more successful than his attempt at pancakes. Not exactly great, but the bar is lowered quite a bit after that absolute failure of a breakfast.
As the day ends, and everyone goes off to bed, one stays up...
And the first murder of the Ultimate Luxury Cruise takes place.
